Advanced and reliable hydraulic driving system make our forging hammers enjoy high efficiency, energy saving capacity and environmental protection performance.

Because of the electric control uploading system, the hydraulic system is mostly in the unloading state (main motor runs under empty load), so the actual load rate of motor is around 40%. The hydraulic system adopts advanced tapered valve technology, which ensures the sealing performance of the hydraulic system and can avoid leakage in the system.

2. Leading main valve and priority valve structure

Our main valve is tapered valve, which can serve more than 5 years.
All our forging machineries use tapered valve as the main valve and ball valve as the priority valve. However, most of our competitors utilize slide valve as their main valve and priority valve. The comparative analysis of tapered valve and slide valve is as follows:

3. Super long service life of oil cylinder

The oil cylinder of our forging hammer adopts alloy steel material with nitrogen treatment (quenching and nitriding). The surface enjoys higher rigidity and stronger wear-resisting performance. Its service life can be over 10 years.

4. The unique design of anti-explosion valve helps to ensure the safety and reliability.

Our patented anti-explosion valve (safety valve) between the accumulator and chamber with rod functions as follows: (i) when the hammer rod is broken, the oil under high pressure will not spray out to cause fire; (ii) when the hammer rod disconnects the hammer ram, the hammer rod will not strike the cylinder.

5. Swaying composite cylinder structure can greatly improve the service life of hammer rod.

Our hydraulic cylinders (both outer and inner cylinder) are fixed at the top, but loosen at the bottom, making them possible to sway. This structure can also avoid wearing of the oil seal and guide bush, and reduce hammer rod’s deflection deformation, thus improving the service life of hammer rod and seals.

6. It can be safe, convenient and fast to realize adjusting operations for our CHK series hammers.

Adjusting operations (such as die matching, slowly lifting up and down of the hammer ram) of forging hammers with no more than 125kJ can be realized. We need to discharge the oil to make system pressure lower than the pressure of accumulator and the hammer ram (smaller hammers discharge less oil). After that, we push the button to make the hammer ram lift down slowly to the required position. Pressure releasing operation can be fulfilled within one minute, which can ensure convenience and safety.

7. Our hydraulic system enjoys reasonable and reliable structure

Accumulators of our competitors’ hammers are installed in the oil tank. This is helpful to lower the height of the hammer, but it makes no sense to medium and small hammer. Besides, there exist some disadvantages:

a. It increases procedures of channel connecting and sealing as well as gives rise to pressure lose.

b. If any malfunction happens, it’s hard to check and difficult to maintain. Operators need to discharge all the oil in the oil tank before maintenance.

c. With multiple procedures of sealing, it’s difficult to seal the oil tank, and when the oil leaks, the polluted oil will flow to the oil tank and thus polluting the oil of the whole system.


8. The location and connection between power ram and hammer body realizes impact resistance and anti-vibration

We adopt elastic locating block, and the connecting bolt is installed with elastic and anti-vibrating performance.


9. Reasonable fixing structure of guide rail

When machining the hammer body, we have designed some gaps on its upper, lower and side surfaces to tightly fix the guide rails and avoid any mal-position.
